Shady Abboud

Upon completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Ottawa, followed by a Master of Business Administration at Carleton University, I decided to go the entrepreneurial route rather than going for corporate employment. I spent the next 8 years founding, operating and selling two small businesses.

This experience was invaluable as I had to constantly find solutions to one-off problems while wearing many hats. As an operator, the business function I focused on the most was finance, which naturally lead me to pursue it full time upon the sale of my second business.
